Dewey Football Prepares for Metro
The Dewey Bulldoggers head into district play on Friday night, coming off a bye week last week.
The Bulldoggers are 1-2 on the season to this point, with their lone win against Locust Grove back in zero week. Since then, the Doggers dropped a game in Perkins and a one possession game in Checotah two weeks ago.
Head coach Scott Sapulpa talked about a few things his group cleaned up during the bye week.
Dewey opens district play this week with a tough road matchup against Metro Christian. The Patriots are 3-0 on the season with three convincing wins over Chisholm, Cascia Hall and Tulsa NOAH.
Sapulpa talked about the defensive approach against a pass-heavy Metro offense.
The Bulldoggers and Patriots collide at Metro on Friday night at 7 p.m.
