Nowata Back Home for Caney Valley (OK) on KRIG

The Nowata Ironmen are looking for their first win on Friday night, as they are at home for the first time in district play against the Caney Valley Trojans.

Nowata is 0-4 on the season following a one-point loss to Barnsdall last week on the road, 37-36. Head coach Chance Juby talked about the strides his team took last week.

The Ironmen will look for their first win of the season and their first district win against an area foe in the Caney Valley Trojans, who also enter winless on the season. The Trojans are 0-3, and will play their first district game of the season on Friday night.

Juby talked about the young Trojan bunch, led by first year head coach Derrick Hammer.

The Ironmen and Trojans meet in Nowata on Friday night at 7 p.m. Pregame coverage will start around 6:30 p.m. Full coverage of the game can be heard on 104.9 KRIG with video coverage on KRIGTV.com.
