Nowata Football Starts Fall Practice
Practices are underway for high school football this week, as the countdown is on for the start of the season.
Out in Nowata, the Ironmen are gearing up for 2025 with a new and younger look.
With a younger bunch, head coach Chance Juby talked about the growth he's seen out of his group since the spring.
Nowata will open the season against a district opponent in just over two weeks, taking on Pawhuska. Both teams made the playoffs last season, with the Huskies advancing to the quarterfinal round, finishing 9-3 overall. Nowata's playoff appearance last season was their first in five years.
Juby talked about the excitement level for the upcoming season.
